Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital General Eye Examination Outpatient Clinic is our core unit where our patients make their initial application to our hospital, where their eye health processes begin, and where comprehensive preliminary evaluations are conducted. Our outpatient clinic serves as an accessible, rapid, and reliable entry point for all our patients who have vision complaints or wish to have a routine eye check-up.
In our outpatient clinic; basic ophthalmological evaluations such as visual acuity measurement, evaluation of refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism), eye pressure measurement, biomicroscopic anterior segment examination, and detailed fundus examination are meticulously performed by our experienced physician staff.
The examination process begins with listening to the patient's complaints; then, all parameters concerning eye health are analyzed accompanied by modern technological devices. As a result of the general evaluation; if no findings related to our patient's eye health are encountered, their routine checks are scheduled. In the event that a more specific condition requiring advanced investigation or specialized treatment (such as retina, glaucoma, strabismus, cornea, etc.) is detected; our patients are quickly and accurately referred to the relevant "subspecialty" units (specific outpatient clinics) of our hospital, and their treatments are maintained in a continuous manner.
With the academic discipline brought by our identity as a training and research hospital, both preventive medicine and the principle of early diagnosis are at the forefront in our General Eye Examination Outpatient Clinic. Correct diagnosis and referral at the initial examination is the most important factor that increases the success rate in our patients' treatment process.
The primary goal of our General Eye Examination Outpatient Clinic is to welcome our patients with a smile, listen to their complaints carefully, evaluate their eye health statuses with a holistic approach, and ensure their access to the specialty unit they need in the shortest time and at high standards.
