Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital Uvea Outpatient Clinic is one of the specialized units providing services for the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up of inflammatory diseases affecting the uveal layer of the eye and surrounding tissues, namely uveitis. Since uveitis is a group of serious diseases that can lead to vision loss and requires a multidisciplinary approach, a meticulous and holistic management plan is applied for every patient in our clinic.
In our outpatient clinic, anterior, intermediate, posterior, and panuveitis, ocular involvement related to Behçet's disease, infectious and non-infectious ocular inflammations, scleritis, and complications developing due to uveitis are evaluated using modern methods.
The diagnosis of uveitis is not limited to an eye examination alone but is supported by laboratory tests, advanced radiological imaging, and intraocular imaging technologies (OCT, angiography, etc.). In treatment processes, the management of personalized medical treatments, immunosuppressive and biological agents is carried out with great sensitivity in order to bring the inflammation under control and prevent recurrences.
