Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital is a reference center specialized in the field of ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery. Advanced diagnostic and treatment services are provided across a wide spectrum, particularly in cataract surgery, laser refractive surgery (LASIK/SMILE), retinal diseases, glaucoma, corneal diseases, and oculoplastic surgery. Diagnostic and treatment processes are planned with a multidisciplinary approach.
2. How does the process work for international patients?
Applications from our international patients are evaluated by the Health Tourism Unit. A preliminary assessment is conducted by reviewing existing medical reports and eye examinations, an appropriate treatment plan is established, and the process planning is communicated to you. Throughout the treatment, all organization and coordination are provided from a single center.
3. What is included in the treatment packages?
Outpatient examination packages include a specialist physician evaluation along with advanced eye examinations deemed necessary (OCT, visual field test, fundus imaging, etc.).
Surgery packages include pre-operative evaluations, necessary tests, the anesthesia process, the surgical procedure, and the medical materials to be used.
Package contents are personalized according to the patient's diagnosis and clinical requirements.
4. How is the post-operative follow-up process managed?
Post-operative check-ups are scheduled at our hospital; for international patients returning to their home countries, the process continues with online evaluation, report sharing, and remote follow-up services. The objective is to maintain the post-treatment recovery process in a safe and controlled manner.

6. How long does the treatment process take?
The treatment duration varies according to the type of disease and the method to be applied. While outpatient examinations are generally completed within the same day, a planning ranging from a few days to a few weeks can be made for surgical procedures depending on the patient's condition.
7. Which documents should I prepare before coming to Türkiye?
Existing medical reports, previously performed tests (MRI, OCT, eye examination results, etc.), and information on medications used, if any, are important for evaluation during the application process. Sharing these documents in advance ensures faster and more accurate treatment planning.
8. Is translation service provided?
Yes. Translation support is provided by our Health Tourism Unit to international patients in order to facilitate the communication process.
9. How are payment transactions carried out?
Payments can be made via credit card, cash, or bank transfer (IBAN). In cash payments, Turkish Lira (TL), Euro (€), and US Dollar ($) are accepted.
10. Can I receive support after returning to my country following the treatment?
Yes. After the treatment, the process is maintained uninterruptedly by providing remote follow-up, online evaluation, and report support to our patients.
