WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR EXAMINATION?
Patients wishing to be examined at our hospital must ensure that they are entitled to coverage by the Social Security Institution (SGK). Otherwise, they must visit the Social Security Institution before coming to the hospital. Documents that patients should bring with them:
National ID cards,
Appointment PIN numbers,
Previous test results and medical films,
Medications they are currently using and their list, if any,
Health booklets, if any,
A list of medications and other substances they are allergic to, if any,
A list of chronic diseases and past epicrisis documents, if any,
A list of procedures previously performed in the hospital and medical history, if any,
In cases where blood collection is required, patients must be fasting for the last 8 hours.
During the examination at our hospital, although it varies depending on the outpatient clinic, patients are recommended to wear appropriate clothing (not tight or restrictive) to provide convenience for the physicians.
Patients are advised not to wear valuable metal jewelry, and as much as possible, not to wear any jewelry when coming to the hospital.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR CONTROL EXAMINATION
After all the tests requested from the patients during the examination at our hospital are completed, they are requested to come for a control check. In this case, unless stated otherwise, the control examination is attended after all requested tests—such as blood, urine, X-ray, and any other—are completed. Information should be obtained from the relevant physician regarding whether an appointment needs to be booked for control examinations. Paid patients cannot be charged an examination fee if they come for a control examination within 10 days. Do not forget to state that you have come for a control examination while obtaining your barcode from the paid cashier desk. Patients with official documents are considered on official referral for the first 3 working days from their initial examination date when having their control examinations, and they do not need to obtain a new referral. If they have exceeded the first 3 (three) working days, they must obtain a referral from their institutions again.
OUTPATIENT CLINIC PROCEDURES
There are secretary counters for all outpatient clinics in our hospital. Patients must arrive 15 minutes before the examination appointment time and obtain the examination barcode from the relevant secretariats.
Matters to be considered during outpatient clinic procedures;
You must be present in front of the outpatient clinic 20 minutes before your appointment time.
The queue must be awaited quietly in front of the examination rooms.
Patients and their relatives who feel faint or unwell during outpatient clinic procedures should apply to the emergency room.
PRESCRIBING, MEDICATION PROCUREMENT, STAMP AND SEAL
In our hospital, e-preions, including colored prescriptions, are written. Wet signatures and seals are mandatory for medical reports issued in certain specific situations. For this, our patients need to come to the Chief Physician's Deputy office to obtain the signature and seal.
REGISTRATION (CASHIER) PROCEDURES
Before any procedure to be performed (examination, blood collection, film imaging, external referral procedures, etc.), patients coming to our hospital must stop by the relevant counters and obtain a barcode.
INPATIENT (CLINIC) PROCEDURES
Patients for whom a hospitalization decision is made in our hospital are directed from the relevant outpatient clinics directly to the clinic where they will stay. One companion is allowed to stay with the patients directed to the clinic. Our companions must obtain a visitor card from their respective clinics.
PATIENT DISCHARGE PROCEDURES
Discharge procedures in our hospital begin with a physician's decision. The epicrisis report and discharge documents written by the relevant physician are given to the companion. Patient exit procedures are carried out by the relevant clinic secretariat. Before leaving the hospital, our patients are strongly advised to be informed and conscious about the tests, treatments, and procedures performed, and to obtain detailed information about the medications they will use and the treatments they will continue at home. All our staff who work in these areas and are authorized to provide information on the subject will gladly assist you.
FUNERAL PROCEDURES
Our patients who lose their lives in our hospital are prepared in the clinic they are located in before being sent to the morgue. Patient relatives cannot transfer the patient directly without being sent to the morgue. After the patient sent to the morgue is properly prepared by the hospital imam, they are delivered to the patient's relatives. During this period, the relevant legal procedures are completed by the hospital administration. The population registration notification procedures of the deceased patients are made to the ÖBS (Death Notification System) by our hospital.
HOW ARE REFERRALS TO OTHER UNITS AND HOSPITALS MADE AFTER THE EXAMINATION?
Patients who will be referred from our hospital to another hospital for tests are referred by filling out the Ek1-D form with the signature of the relevant clinic specialist and the approval of the chief physician's office. When it is decided to continue the treatment in another hospital, the patient is discharged and referred to the other hospital.
INPATIENT REFERRAL
Patient referral between clinics within our hospital is carried out as a result of the decision of the relevant physician. The patient's treatment continues in the relevant clinic, and they can be referred to other units when deemed necessary.
OUTPATIENT REFERRAL
Patients who will be referred from our hospital to another hospital for tests are referred by filling out the Ek1-D form with the signature of the relevant clinic specialist and the approval of the chief physician's office.
REFERRAL TO DIAGNOSTIC UNITS WITHIN OUR HOSPITAL
Patients who are sent from outpatient clinics and other hospitals to diagnostic units such as MRI, Tomography, and Ultrasound in our hospital must obtain a scan appointment from the relevant units for their imaging.
Matters to be considered when coming to the diagnostic units;
When exposed to radioactive effects, yogurt and liquid foods should be consumed after the scan.
Metal objects or jewelry should not be worn.
Loose and comfortable clothing should be worn to be at ease during the scan.
Pregnant patients, or those with a possibility of pregnancy, and their relatives must not be present in the scanning area.
Patients going home after the scan are recommended to change and wash the clothes they wore during the procedure, as they were exposed to radiation.
PATIENTS REFERRED TO DIAGNOSTIC UNITS FROM OTHER HOSPITALS
Patients sent with a referral from other hospitals for any analysis or test must obtain an appointment from the relevant units. In these referrals, it is not necessary for the patients to be examined in our hospital again.
REFERRAL TO THE LABORATORY UNIT IN OUR HOSPITAL
For tests of body fluids, especially blood tests performed in our hospital, our patients must first be examined. After the examination, they need to go to the Blood Collection unit and register at the blood collection desk. At the end of the registration, patients' blood is drawn according to the patient sequence number given in the blood collection unit.
Matters to be considered during blood collection;
Unless specified otherwise for blood tests, if fasting is required, it must be known that blood will definitely be drawn in the morning.
After the blood collection procedure, if there is no restriction and no other procedure requiring fasting will be performed, foods such as fruit juice, etc. should be consumed.
After blood is drawn, do not forget to apply pressure to your vein where the blood was drawn with a dry cotton ball for at least 10 minutes.
Blood results can be viewed by the relevant physician via HBYS. They can also be accessed via e-Nabız.
