Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Outpatient Clinic operates with the purpose of evaluating our patients from a general surgery perspective during the surgical operation processes in our hospital, performing pre-operative risk analyses, and providing qualified healthcare services to our patients in need of outpatient surgery. Our unit works in coordination with other medical units of our hospital in systemic and surgical support processes that may be required in the treatment of eye diseases.

In our outpatient clinic; the diagnosis and treatment processes of gastrointestinal system diseases, hernias, skin and soft tissue lesions, minor surgical interventions, and acute conditions requiring surgery are conducted. Particularly, the pre-operative evaluation of our patients planned for eye surgery in terms of accompanying general surgery problems and the management of necessary systemic clearance processes for anesthesia safety are meticulously carried out by our experienced expert staff.

Modern surgical approaches, imaging technologies, and up-to-date clinical protocols that prioritize patient safety are applied in the diagnosis and treatment processes. With the academic discipline brought by our identity as a training and research hospital, we aim to minimize the risks of complications in surgical processes and to maintain our patients' general health status at the most appropriate level for surgery.

The primary goal of our General Surgery Outpatient Clinic is to meet systemic surgical requirements within our hospital's multifaceted healthcare approach, to make surgical preparation processes safe, and to offer high-standard surgical care to our patients with a holistic approach.
