Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital Anesthesia and Reanimation Outpatient Clinic is a critical unit where our patients' general health status is evaluated, the anesthesia method is determined, and the operation process is safely planned prior to any surgical intervention to be performed in our hospital. Our clinic provides services at international safety standards to make our patients' surgical experience as comfortable and safe as possible.

In our outpatient clinic; procedures such as detailed pre-operative physical examination, medical history inquiry, review of laboratory and radiological tests, evaluation of systemic diseases (hypertension, diabetes, heart diseases, etc.) for suitability for anesthesia, and determination of the most appropriate type of anesthesia (general anesthesia, sedation, or local anesthesia) for the patient are carried out.

In eye surgery, the patient remaining completely still and feeling safe during the operation is one of the most important keys to success. Therefore, reducing our patients' anxiety and increasing operation comfort through "sedation" (light sleep state) applications, especially in operations performed under local anesthesia, is among the priority approaches of our outpatient clinic.

With the academic discipline brought by our identity as a training and research hospital, our anesthesia protocols are meticulously implemented in line with current literature and evidence-based medicine practices. Thanks to the strong communication network established with our surgeons and physicians from other branches, individualized and safe anesthesia plans are created even for patients in high-risk groups.

The main goal of our Anesthesia and Reanimation Outpatient Clinic is to bring our patients to surgery in the most prepared and safest physical conditions, to ensure maximum patient safety by closely monitoring vital functions throughout the operation, and to offer a painless, peaceful recovery period in the post-operative phase.
