Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic is the unit at the center of our hospital's complementary and holistic health services, conducting the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of systemic diseases that may be associated with eye diseases or affect the treatment process. Our clinic plays a critical role, especially in evaluating the systemic health of patients planned for surgical operations and in the processes of preparation for surgery.
In our outpatient clinic; examination and treatment of hypertension, diabetes, thyroid diseases, hyperlipidemia (cholesterol disorders), anemia, and other systemic chronic diseases are performed. Especially for our patients planned for eye surgery, the pre-operative systemic evaluations, anesthesia preparation, and the management of the general health status's suitability for surgery are meticulously carried out by our experienced specialist staff.
Modern laboratory facilities and current clinical guidelines are used in the diagnosis and treatment processes. A "multidisciplinary" approach is adopted in full coordination with our ophthalmologists, considering our patients' systemic health status, existing eye pathologies, and the requirements of the surgical procedures to be applied.
